At South Wales Medical Services, we believe itโs never too early to learn how to save a life. Our Mini Medics First Aid Course introduces children and young people to the essential principles of first aid in a fun, engaging, and age-appropriate way.
Delivered by qualified medical professionals with real-world experience, this nationally recognised programme helps children build the confidence to act calmly and responsibly in an emergency โ skills that could one day make all the difference.

Designed for children aged 8 to 16, our Mini Medics sessions combine interactive learning, hands-on practice, and team-based activities to make first aid both exciting and educational.
Children will learn:
- How to assess a situation and get help
- Checking for breathing and using the recovery position
- CPR and using an AED (automated external defibrillator)
- Treating common injuries such as cuts, grazes, burns, and nosebleeds
- Understanding how to stay safe and help others safely
Each course is tailored to suit the groupโs age and confidence level, ensuring every child leaves with new skills โ and a sense of pride in what theyโve achieved.
